Same problem, different year, but it’s still all one big mess

Ref, ref, did you hear what that player/fan just called me? No, sorry mate, I’ll listen out next time, the official replies tamely. It happens again, and again and again. What do you do? Take the law into your own hands, hit the offending player, burst out in tears, ask your manager to take you off or lead your team off the pitch. I know what I’d do.

2013 is all about the Maccabiah

It's virtually impossible to follow a year like 2012 on the sporting front, but quite clearly, the main focus in Jewish terms will be the 19th Maccabiah Games in Israel.

A number of my ones to watch in 2013 will be lining up for what is expected to be a star-studded event, kicking-off at Jerusalem’s Teddy Stadium in July.
