Restaurants provide a convivial party setting, where the food, entertainment and décor are all organised centrally.

As well as offering their own catering, many restaurants welcome external kosher caterers, including Tony Page, Carole Sobell, Alison Price and James Zimmer.

In the centre of London's historic financial district, The Royal Exchange is a Grade I listed historic landmark and a symbol of the city's longstanding commercial and mercantile achievement.

With its opulent Greek-style façade, its lavish interior courtyard and high, vaulted glass roof, The Royal Exchange is the ideal venue for an event that exudes grandeur and glamour.

The courtyard space can accommodate 350 guests for a seated dining event or up to 1,000 for a standing reception, with a suitable area set aside for a dance floor and band if required.

You can also enjoy exclusive use of the mezzanine bars.

For smaller-scale events, perhaps an anniversary celebration or birthday party, the private dining room offers an exclusive table for up to 26, with an adjoining reception area (this can also be used in conjunction with the private dining room for standing drinks and canapé reception for 50 people).

The windows overlooking the courtyard provide privacy without losing the ambience of the hustle and bustle below.

Quaglino's is a classic society restaurant in the heart of St James's, a fashionable venue for both large and small events. The flexible space on the expansive restaurant floor can be transformed into the environment of your choice - wonderfully wacky or classic and elegant - while the theatrical main staircase offers guests the opportunity to make an entrance in style.

Seating 300, or holding 600 standing, Quaglino's is well suited to large events such as bar and batmitzvahs, weddings and landmark birthdays.

For smaller events, there are two private dining rooms, The Prince of Wales Room and The Giovanni Room, which can seat up to 44 and 16 people respectively.

Floridita, in London's West End, recreates the atmosphere of a 1930s supper club. Synthesising Cuban and cabaret influences, it evokes the hedonism and glitz of a bygone era with its underground setting, its deep red and white leather interiors and an abundance of crystal.

It can be exclusively hired for 360 guests for seated dining or 500 for standing receptions. Smaller private dining rooms can seat groups of up to 68 and hold up to 90 standing.

Floridita serves Latin American inspired dishes, delicious cocktails and one of the most impressive collection of rums in Europe.

To add to the fun, Floridita's fully equipped stage can host entertainment of all descriptions and with a late licence until 2am on Monday to Wednesday and 3am on Thursday to Saturday, you can dance the night away.

Designed by acclaimed American architect Rick Mather, Avenue, near Clarence House in Mayfair, emanates cool and minimalist elegance.

Characterised by its signature red wallS and light, bright and airy atmosphere, Avenue is a modern but sophisticated choice.

With an array of event spaces, Avenue can host semi-private meals for up to 24 on the mezzanine level, private dining for 18 seated or 35 standing, or the whole restaurant which can accommodate 150 seated and 300 standing for bigger events.

Avenue's catering team puts the emphasis on seasonal and local British produce.

With an open-plan function space, a large bar and space for a dance floor, Avenue suits a wide range of celebrations.
