Myra Goldman, 68, died when the gate of a business park fell on her on Sunday while she was working at her flower business in Whitefield, north Manchester.

Salford sex suspect who fled bail arrested in Israel

Police have confirmed that Todros Grynhaus, a suspected sex offender from Salford, has been arrested by Israeli police after fleeing the UK.

Greater Manchester Police, who had been seeking the 48-year-old in the UK and abroad since he went missing two weeks ago, confirmed that the man they believe to be Mr Grynhaus had been arrested in Jerusalem, where he was living under a false identity.

Salford sex suspect flees strict bail terms

A suspected Jewish sex offender from Salford is being tracked by police.

Salford-based Todros Grynhaus, 48, had pleaded not guilty to seven counts of sexual or indecent assault against children in December and was expected to be tried at Manchester Crown Court later this year.

Manchester job centre opens

The first Jewish employment centre outside of London has opened in Manchester with funding from Bury and Salford councils.

JCom’s shop-fronted Employment Support Centre in Prestwich will offer a job search and advice service in partnership with local job centres. Features will include a benefits surgery and “hot desk” office space at a nominal fee for new small businesses.

Salford assault suspect has breached bail

A Salford Jewish man accused of sexual assault against children is suspected of breaching his bail conditions to avoid his upcoming trial.

Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that Todros Grynhaus, 47, from Higher Broughton, has failed to answer strict bail conditions he was placed under following being charged with historic sexual abuse in December.
