Eliana Mann thriving after removal of 3kg tumour

The life of a 10-year-old Kerem Primary pupil has been transformed by the removal of a 3kg tumour from her abdomen.
Eliana Mann’s tumour was discovered in 2009 after her parents Tara and Paul became concerned that she was not eating and was constantly tired. Mr Mann also noticed that Eliana’s feet had not grown and that her stomach was unusually hard.

Decision nears on Finchley primary

Leaders of the project for a cross-communal Jewish primary in Finchley will discuss the plans with Department for Education officials this month.

Interim governors' chair Martin Blain said that, although the DfE interview did not "mean we have the green light", it demonstrated that the free school application was being taken seriously.

Morasha buys site for school

The Morasha Jewish Primary has acquired the former Barnet College site in Stanhope Road, North Finchley, for its new premises and hopes to move in later this year, subject to the completion of refurbishment.

Boris gets walk-on part at Finchley crossings

London Mayor Boris Johnson has visited the redeveloped Henlys Corner junction, where automated pedestrian crossings make life safer for Finchley Synagogue congregants walking to shul.
