● Students from Leeds JSoc have set up a video campaign to remember victims of terrorist attacks on Israel and to combat anti-Israel activity on campus.

The Justice for January’s victims film features JSoc members displaying different dates from the month and stating how many people were killed in terrorist acts in Israel on that date during the past 20 years.

A £6.6 million sheltered housing project has been described as “the closest thing to a commune in north Leeds”.

The comment was made by Leeds Jewish Housing Association chair Stephen Lewis at the naming ceremony for Stonegate Way, a 60-apartment complex whose features include a hydrotherapy spa and a kosher shop.

Former London theatre owner Brian Daniels has been appointed assistant artistic director of the Leeds J-Fest International.
