A CD has been released by the Manchester King David High chamber choir to help raise money for its musical activities.
Rhythm of Life was recorded in May by Steve Portnoi, a producer for the Manchester's Halle orchestra. The 19 tracks range from from pop and jazz to medieval and contemporary classical, performed by 30 GCSE and A-level students.
Head of music Trevor Siemens said proceeds would go towards an overseas tour "giving the student musicians an opportunity to perform abroad, regardless of family income".
