When Chief Rabbi Sir Jonathan Sacks arrived at BBC Television Centre last week for his Thought for the Day slot, he had problems gaining access to the studio.
The man at main reception rang the Today programme to let them know that one Rob Isaacs was in the building and waiting to be picked up and taken to the studio. The Today team refused to let him in, saying they were expecting no guest called either Rob or Isaacs. But reception was insistent: Mr Isaacs is here to do Thought for the Day. Eventually, the penny dropped. Rob Isaacs… does that sound a bit like Rabbi Sacks?
