European burials surveyed

More than 100 cemeteries in the Warsaw region are to be surveyed as part of a vast project to preserve Jewish burial grounds across Europe. Lo Tishkach — Hebrew for “Do Not Forget” — aims to list all the estimated 20,000 Jewish cemeteries and mass-burial sites in Europe.
