Matt Lucas and Ron Prosor make 2010 Who's Who

Comic Matt Lucas joined by Israeli envoy in 2010 Who’s Who

Israeli ambassador Ron Prosor and comedian Matt Lucas are among the new Jewish entrants to the bible of British achievement, the 2010 edition of Who’s Who.

No hobbies are ascribed to the ambassador, but for the 35-year-old co-star of Little Britain, eating crisps and crumpets and watching football are listed among his recreations.

Channel Five controller Richard Woolfe, the chairman of London Fashion Week Harold Tillman, and paragliding theatre director Mark Rubinstein also make their debut this time.

Jewish lawyers include QCs David Wolfson, originally from Liverpool, who lists “learning lishma” (for its own sake) among his hobbies; and the son of former Sephardi Beth Din head Dayan Pinchas Toledano, Daniel Toledano.

Among the academic entrants are ex-Hasmo boy Prof Michael Freeman, professor of law at University College London, and Prof Miriam David, a sociology professor at the Institute of Education and trustee of the Shalom-Salaam Trust.

Also in are the chief executive of BT, Ian Livingston; and Harry Rich, former chairman of the Student and Academic Campaign for Soviet Jewry and of the Jewish Aids Trust, and now chief executive of the Royal Institute of British Architects. Mr Rich includes “enquiring and understanding” among his pastimes.

Less welcome company are BNP leader Nick Griffin and the party’s London Assembly member Richard Barnbrook.
