The Apprentice: Jamie Lester fired by Lord Sugar

The final Jewish candidate on this year’s Apprentice has been fired by Lord Sugar with one week to go.

Property developer Jamie Lester became the latest casualty of the boardroom after faltering at the interview stage of the contest.

Lord Sugar told him: “I think you’ve come to the end of the road."

The former Ilford Jewish Primary School pupil was the last of the three candidates fired in the episode but could not save his place despite revealing to Margaret Mountford the “interesting fact” that he has a third nipple.

Apprentice Jamie escapes with warning from Lord Sugar

Former marine Christopher Farrell was fired from the Apprentice this week after his team failed to sell enough authentic German crisps made in Britain to companies in Hamburg.

Despite bringing in a total of €17,995, team Synergy, whose members included Jamie Lester, Liz Locke and Chris Bates as project manager, lost to opponents Apollo.

Lord Sugar criticised the team for missing an early-morning appointment, giving the competition the opportunity to secure the lucrative deal instead.

Jamie Lester's Apprentice team loses but he survives

Jamie Lester has held on to his place in the Apprentice for another week.

The Jewish property developer avoided being fired by Lord Sugar despite being a member of losing team Synergy.

He clashed with project manager Sandeesh Samra early on in the task, which was to create and sell a “virtual experience” to members of the public at London’s Westfield shopping centre.

Appointed as a runner, he told Sandeesh that he would be wasted in the role and compared it to working as a delivery man.

Alex Epstein talks Apprentice, fame and Lord Sugar

Alex Epstein, the King David High School boy who couldn’t find his way round Manchester’s Trafford Centre, was the latest victim of reality TV show The Apprentice this week.

The 26-year-old from Whitefield headed Team Apollo for the task of creating a new brand of cleaning product, producing an advert described by Lord Sugar as “shockingly bad”.

Mr Epstein escaped from the boardroom last week despite messing up a marketing strategy in the Trafford Centre, where he had previously worked in retail.

After a narrow escape last week, Lord Sugar fired Mr Epstein when he led team Apollo to defeat with a row over yellow packaging.

As project manager Mr Epstein was tasked with creating a new brand of cleaning product and building a successful advertising campaign around it.
