UK family devastated by grandfather's murder

Of the five men murdered in Kehilat Bnei Torah shul this week, one was a British Charedi man, Abraham Goldberg.

Mr Goldberg, a 68-year-old great-grandfather originally from Liverpool, was described as a "tolerant, good man" by his cousin, Michelle Hirschfield.

Shul bomb suspect charged after 34 years

French authorities this week charged the chief suspect in the bombing of a Paris synagogue - 34 years after the attack.

Hassan Diab, a Canadian citizen, was accused of first-degree murder over the 1980 attack on the Union Libérale Israélite synagogue on Rue Copernic, which left four dead.

Former Cabinet Minister Sayeeda Warsi has compared the terrorists who killed four Jews praying at synagogue in Jerusalem with the Israelis who campaign outside the Al Aqsa mosque.

Four dead in terror attack on Jerusalem synagogue

Four Israelis were killed and eight wounded in a terrorist attack on a synagogue in Jerusalem.

Two terrorists entered the Kehillat Bnei Torah synagogue and attacked worshippers during morning prayers on Tuesday, using knives, axes and guns.

The attackers were shot at the scene by police.

The injured were taken to hospitals in the city.

Israeli killed in second terror attack

A young woman has been killed and two others injured in a terror attack in the West Bank.

The three Israelis were stabbed at a junction just outside Alon Shvut, in Gush Etzion. The assailant, reportedly a man from Hebron called Maher al Hashlamon, was shot by a guard at the scene and later died from his injuries.
