For the bargain price of $1.99 owners of the Apple devices can fire lasers at Nazi's attacking the earth from advanced spacecrafts. Players of the "Iron Sky: The Last Territory" game are tasked with defending the earth and destroying its enemies.

The actor, who was famously arrested for drink driving and launched into a tirade about Jews, is to bring the story of Judah Maccabee to the big screen.

Gaza and West Bank in timely dispute

Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank have found another subject to argue over.

As of this week, the two are now separated by an hour – not in terms of how long it takes to travel from one to the other, but in terms of time.

Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip, moved the clocks back an hour at the beginning of Ramadan to make the fast easier.

The fall of Libya's Colonel Gaddafi has had an unexpected impact on one Israeli reptile.

As the world waits to find out where the dictator will surface, a crocodile who shares his name looks set to adopt a new moniker.

The sharp-toothed Gaddafi crocodile, three metres long and weighing in at 230 kilograms, was born in 1975 and lives on the Hamat Gader farm in the Golan Heights.

Circumcision surgeon 'amputated penis'

A man is suing the Louisville Jewish H ospital in Kentucky for amputating his penis during a routine circumcision.

Philip Seaton was scheduled to have a circumcision to remove inflammation. But the lawyer for surgeon Dr John Patterson said that Dr Patterson had discovered cancer during the surgery in October 2007.

Teddy bear stolen from New York simcha

It was meant to be a celebration – but one family saw a brit milah turn into a farce when a teddy bear was stolen from the buffet.

A man, believed to be posing as a caterer, nabbed the teddy bear and balloon centrepieces from the tables of the simcha and walked away. He was forced to burst some of the balloons in order to make a quick exit.
