Water fight Israeli politician suspended

An Israeli politician has been suspended after a heated debate in the Knesset ended with a water fight.

Anastassia Michaeli, a politician from the right-wing Yisroel Beitenu party, threw a glass of water over a Labour backbencher.

She also shouted "shame on you" to the MK, Raleb Majadele, during a routine debate.

The barmitzvah ceremony is a time-honoured Jewish tradition celebrating when a boy becomes a man – or, for some, when man's best friend does.

The latest trend in US Jewish life is for the "bark-mitzvah", marking the occasion of a dog's second birthday, which translates in human years to a boy's 13th.

The man, formerly known as Rotem Guez, took the dramatic action after he received letters from Facebook’s lawyers warning him that he was in breach of the company’s terms and conditions.

The parents of a child named Adolf Hitler have lost custody of their fourth child less than a day after he was born.

The newborn infant was named Hons, arguable a more conventional choice than those made for Adolf and his sisters JoyceLynn Aryan Nation and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie.


Israeli women strip for Egyptian solidarity

A group of Israeli women have stripped off in support of an Egyptian blogger who posed naked to highlight the lack of rights for women in the Arab country.

Aliaa Elmahdy, a 20-year-old student, posted a picture of herself wearing only stockings and red patent shoes. She received thousands of abusive messages, including death threats, following the post.
