Stacey Solomon: I'm getting married

Stacey Solomon is set to tie the knot.

The reality television star, a former pupil of King Solomon High School, is to marry her boyfriend of three years, Aaron Barnham.

In October she announced that she was expecting a child with him. She already has a son, Zachary, three, from a prior relationship.

Stacey Solomon has been voted Celebrity Mum of the Year.

The I'm as Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here winner, mother of toddler Zachary, was chosen by voters over fellow Jewish singer Rachel Stevens.

Queen Elizabeth II, Samantha Cameron and Miriam Clegg were also in the running in the Foxy Bingo contest.

Stacey Solomon has been crowned Queen of the jungle after winning this year's I'm a Celebrity – Get Me Out Of Here!

The former King Solomon pupil from Dagenham won the contest after audiences watched her brave tasks including eating kangaroo penis.

Ms Solomon, 21, beat former MP Lembit Opik and onetime Bond girl actress Britt Eckland to take the title on the ITV show.

After her win the star said: "Never in a million years did I think anything like this could happen. I'm a wreck."

Her win comes just a year after she gained third place on the X Factor.

Stacey Solomon may have bitten off more than she could chew in the current series of I'm a Celebrity – Get Me Out Of Here!

The former King Solomon pupil, 21, munched on a distinctly un-kosher kangaroo penis for her first task in the Australian jungle. She later had green goo sprayed in her face.

But she's still favourite to win the ITV show at 3/1. And the X Factor finalist has the backing of Simon Cowell who told me this week: "Put your money on her. She's a fantastic girl and she makes brilliant TV."

Stacey Solomon has been confirmed as one of the 12 stars heading to the Australian jungle for this year’s I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The Jewish singer from Dagenham, who reached the final three in the 2009 series of X Factor, is a strong favourite to win the reality show.

Paddy Power has odds of 4 to 1 that she will take the top spot, although they have also offered 6 to 1 odds that she will be the first to walk.

Stacey Solomon: X Factor to I'm a Celebrity?

Former X Factor star Stacey Solomon is expected to be back on reality TV from next month.

The ex-King Solomon High School pupil has been tipped to appear in the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here. Her manager said he would not comment on "speculation".

If she does appear on the programme, which has been running since 2002, she will be joined in the jungle by the presenter Gail Porter and the athlete Linford Christie.

Ms Solomon, 21, came third in the 2009 series of X Factor – a record Jewish singer Katie Waissel is hoping to improve on this year.

X Factor star records debut single

Stacey Solomon has recorded the 1940s song ‘At Last’ as her first solo single.

The X Factor star and former King Solomon High School pupil is to release a version of the classic tune in aid of the Royal Air Force.

The 20-year-old is fronting a campaign to reunite members of the Squadronaires, an RAF band formed during the Second World War.

“My cousin's serving at the moment and my granddad was actually in the RAF as well, so it means quite a lot to me,” she said.

Stacey previously performed the song during the Diva Week of the 2009 series of X Factor.

Cowell: Stacey Solomon 'too much like Leona'

X Factor judge Simon Cowell blamed her mentor Dannii Minogue for ruining Stacey Solomon’s chances of winning the competition.

She narrowly missed out on being in the final and Simon said Dannii’s made a tactical error by making herappear too much like previous winner Leona Lewis.

“If Stacey were to win the show, we would have to go right back to where she started from when we first saw her,” he was reported as telling the News of the World.

Stacey Solomon out of X Factor

Stacey Solomon has finished in third place in the final of X Factor, which was watched by 20 million viewers.

Stacey, who was mentored by Dannii Minogue, was voted out of the ITV show despite never having been in the bottom two of the competition.

Speaking after the vote, Stacey said: "I came third, that's really good. I'm really proud. I've had the time of my life. Thanks to everyone who kept me here to the final."

Madness descended on Barkingside this week when X Factor finalist Stacey Solomon visited her former school.

Hundreds of King Solomon High School pupils lined the car park on Tuesday, eagerly anticipating the arrival of the 20-year-old, who left mid-way through her A-levels three years ago.

They chanted and waved homemade banners with the words: “We love Stacey” and “Stacey has the Essex Factor”.

After more than an hour, a blacked-out car glided through the school gates and the crowd went wild.

It was mayhem in Barkingside as Stacey Solomon and Dannii Minogue descended upon King Solomon High School with their X Factor entourage.

Pupils at the Jewish school waited outside for an hour for the X Factor finalist, who left the school three years ago.

Clutching homemade banners, the students screamed and shouted: “We love you Stacey” as the Dagenham diva made her way up the steps of the school, to be greeted by head teacher Spencer Lewis.

Inside, posters adorned the walls saying ‘Vote Stacey’.

Gordon Brown: I'm backing Stacey Solomon

Gordon Brown has revealed that he and his family are backing Stacey Solomon to win The X Factor.

The Prime Minister threw his support behind the Dagenham diva, who is the only girl left in the competition, after the controversial departure of Welsh warbler Lucie Jones.

Speaking on ITV’s This Morning, Mr Brown said he had been impressed by Stacey, before adding that he wished all the singers well, claiming he watches the show with his wife Sarah and sons John and Fraser.

Simon Cowell has revealed he is a secret fan of Stacey Solomon and thinks she will make it the finals of X Factor.

The music mogul and X Factor judge made the comments exclusively to the JC at the Norwood annual dinner this week.

Mr Cowell, 50, said: “I like Stacey. She’s a sweetheart. She’s a nice girl with a good voice and she’s getting better. She’s going to be in the final.

“She’s my favourite act after my own acts.”

Former King Solomon pupil Stacey, 20, will be surprised at the comments fromMr Cowell who has criticised her performances in the past.
