A video has emerged, showing Jewish film star Shia LaBeouf, hitting a man in a bar in South London.

The 27 year old actor was involved in a brawl with a drinker at the Hobgoblin pub in New Cross, over remarks a bout the mother of the the actor's girlfriend.

Carer from the Philippines wins Israel's X-Factor

A 47-year-old carer from the Philippines has been named Israel’s first X-Factor winner, beating three other acts in last night’s live final in Tel Aviv.

Rose Fostanes, who moved to Israel from Manila four years ago, won audiences over with her final song, Frank Sinatra’s “My Way”, which she performed with a live orchestra.


Michael Douglas and Andy Samberg win at Golden Globes

Michael Douglas took home the award for Best Actor in a Mini-Series or Picture at the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles last night.

The 69-year-old, who won for his portrayal of Liberace in the HBO biopic "Behind the Candelabra", paid tribute to his co-star Matt Damon, telling him: "The reason you’re not up here is because I had more sequins."

Nominees announced on Thursday include Canadian rapper Drake and leading all-girl band Haim.

Drake, who has regularly spoken of his Jewish roots, was nominated for International male solo artist.


Amy Whinehouse card sold for charity

A birthday card, handmade by late pop-star Amy Winehouse for her mother Janis, has been sold for £200.

The green card with a cartoon image of Mrs Winehouse, decorated by a 12-year-old Amy, was auctioned on eBay to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Justin Timberlake to perform in Tel Aviv

American pop star Justin Timberlake will perform in Israel later this year.

The award-winning singer and producer, 32, who rose to fame as part of the N Sync boyband in the 1990s, has never performed in Israel.

The Cry Me a River-singer, who has won four Emmy and six Grammy awards, will perform in Tel Aviv in May.
