Jeremy Corbyn addressed LaRouche front organisation

Jeremy Corbyn spoke by video at a meeting held earlier this year by a group fronting for the far-right LaRouche organisation, it has emerged.

The frontrunner in the Labour leadership race addressed the annual conference of the Citizens Electoral Council (CEC) in Melbourne, Australia in April.

Corbyn quizzed on antisemitic ties

Labour leadership contest frontrunner Jeremy Corbyn has spoken in detail for the first time about his links to a charity run by a Holocaust denier.

He told Channel 4 News he had previously met self-confessed Shoah denier Paul Eisen, who had claimed Mr Corbyn had “put his chequebook on the table” to support him.

Labour will investigate after dozens of antisemitic messages were sent to non-Jewish MPs who have criticised party leadership candidate Jeremy Corbyn.

John Mann, chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Group Against Antisemitism, said he had received more than 40 abusive emails and tweets in the past six weeks.

They referred to him as “utter filth” and a “Zionist stooge”.
