David Cameron expected to speak at Knesset during Israel visit

David Cameron's rescheduled visit to Israel may take place next week, according to sources in Jerusalem.

Knesset speaker Yuli Edelstein said Mr Cameron was expected to address Israel's parliament on March 12.

The Prime Minister was last month forced to cancel plans to make his first official visit to Israel since his election following the floods which affected parts of Britain.

Poland urged to do more to provide restitution to Holocaust victims

Dozens of British parliamentarians have written to Poland’s Prime Minister urging his country to do more to provide restitution to Holocaust victims whose property was seized during the war.

They said Britain should increase its work to aid survivors now living in this country who are seeking the return of their belongings, or compensation.

All-party group helps MPs to define strategy

Scottish councillor accused over 'Nazi salute'

A local councillor who allegedly made a Nazi salute and shouted “sieg heil” at a heated council meeting is to face a disciplinary hearing.

Robert Spears, who sits as part of an independent group on Falkirk council in Scotland, is said to have made the Nazi gesture last May during a debate on the way the council makes decisions.
