He just can't help it, can he? You would have thought that Ken Livingstone would have learned by now that, when it comes to all matters Jewish, he should keep his views firmly to himself. No one wants to hear them.

It's Ken again: Livingstone says 'richer' Jews vote Tory

Former London Mayor Ken Livingstone has repeated his claim that Jewish voters support the Conservative Party because they are wealthier than in the past.

On BBC’s Newsnight programme on Monday Mr Livingstone said Jews were now “richer” than 50 years ago and had shifted from backing Labour.

Boris Johnson promises 'good deal for London' after defeating Ken Livingstone

A bitterly fought election campaign ended on Friday evening with Boris Johnson named the next mayor of London.

The Conservative incumbent defeated Ken Livingstone by a narrow margin of 51.5 per cent to 48.5 per cent.

He pledged to fight for a “good deal for Londoners,” and thanked voters for giving him “a new chance and a new mandate to take us forward”.

Lord Sugar, the Apprentice boss and millionaire entrepreneur, wrote on Twitter: "I don't care if Ed Miliband is backing Livingstone.

"I seriously suggest NO ONE votes for Livingstone in the Mayoral elections."
