Royal family members follow Kabbalah

There are secret kabbalists at Buckingham Palace, according to the head of the Kabbalah Centre in London.

Marcus Weston claimed that members of the royal family were among those who had taken up the ancient Jewish mystical tradition and signed agreements preventing them from talking about it.

The Black Swan star, 30, was seen wearing a large diamond ring on her wedding finger while shopping with her mother Elvira in Los Angeles this week, prompting unconfirmed reports of an engagement in E! Online and People magazine.

Madonna’s Kabbalah teacher Rabbi Philip Berg has died aged 86, after battling 10 years of ill-health.

Known as the “rabbi to the stars”, he had developed a large celebrity following in Los Angeles, with students including Britney Spears, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher visiting his famed Kabbalah Centre.


Madonna and Guy Ritchie reunite to celebrate son's barmitzvah

Madonna has celebrated the barmitzvah of her son Rocco in New York.

The singer was joined by ex-husband British director Guy Ritchie at the ceremony at the city's Kaballah Centre last Saturday.

Neither Madonna or Mr Ritchie is Jewish, but the singer has studied Jewish mysticism for over a decade and has adopted the Hebrew name Esther.

She is rumoured to be house hunting in Israel.
