Five pro-Palestinian activists demonstrate outside Israeli-owned Sabon store in London

A small group of pro-Palestinians activists have mounted a protest outside an Israeli cosmetics shop in central London.

Five protesters from London Palestine Action, holding placards and wearing boiler suits, stood outside Sabon in Covent Garden and chanted at passers-by for around an hour.


Vigil planned in London for Israeli victims of terror attacks

Grassroots groups will come together for a candlelight vigil to honour victims of the recent spate of terror attacks in Israel.

The event on Sunday will be held outside the Israeli embassy in London, with attendees encouraged to bring yahrzeit candles and signs reading “#AmYisraelChai” in support of Israel.

A formal complaint has been entered with the BBC over its coverage of the terrorist attack in Jerusalem on Saturday, according to the Israeli embassy.

Two men were killed and a woman and two-year-old toddler from the same ultra-Orthodox family were wounded during the incident in the Old City, for which terrorist group Islamic Jihad has taken credit.


'Hundreds' of soldiers hunt for Palestinian gunmen who shot Israeli couple in West Bank

The IDF have deployed hundreds of soldiers in the West Bank in an attempt to find the Palestinian gunmen who killed an Israeli couple on Thursday night.

The couple, named as Eiran and Naama Henkin, aged in their 30s, were driving with their four young children between the settlements of Itamar and Elon Moreh.


Labour donor explains why he heckled Jeremy Corbyn at Israel event

A Labour supporter who heckled Jeremy Corbyn at a Labour Friends of Israel reception has explained his reasons for shouting at the party leader.

Michael Foster, a Jewish donor who stood as a Labour candidate in the general election, said he had been unable to understand how Mr Corbyn could speak for eight minutes at the event without using the word “Israel”.

Christian schools in Israel to re-open after month-long strikes

Christian schools in Israel will re-open on Monday following strikes over funding.

Some 33,000 schoolchildren will return to class after almost a month off following a deal that was reached on Sunday morning between the Christian school council, which represents 47 schools, and the Education Ministry.


Israeli army officer suspended over alleged assault on journalists

The Israeli army has suspended the officer in charge during an incident filmed on video in which two journalists were seemingly assaulted by IDF soldiers in the West Bank.

Soldiers appeared to assault two Agence France Presse journalists, steal their equipment and destroy it.
