Israel hits back after Daesh-affiliated cell fires rockets from Gaza

Israel has attacked four military locations in Gaza in response to rocket attacks from the region.

On Saturday morning, the Israeli Air Force “targeted two Hamas military training facilities and two other military sites,” according to official reports.

The gunman who killed two people and wounded seven more in a shooting at a Tel Aviv bar is thought to be a 29-year-old Israeli Arab called Nashat Milhem, according to Israeli media.

Police are still searching for the attacker who targeted the Simta bar on Dizengoff Street in a crowded area of the city centre on Friday.

Israeli police have launched a massive manhunt after a gunman killed two people and wounded at least seven others in an attack on a Tel Aviv bar.

The incident took place in the centre of the city, at the Simta bar on the corner of Dizengoff Street and Gordon Street.

The gunman is thought to have targeted a group celebrating a birthday, firing an automatic weapon before fleeing.

The Israel Defence Forces have shelled southern Lebanon in response to a rocket fire attack on Israel.

IDF artillery units shelled targets in south Lebanon on Sunday after at least three rockets were fired into Israel.

At least one rocket landed in an open area near Nahariya, according to reports. There are no reports of injuries or damage.

Terror chief Samir Kuntar has reportedly been killed in an Israeli air strike.

Arab media reported on Sunday morning that the Hezbollah-affiliated terrorist Samir Kuntar was killed in an Israeli Air Force attack near Damascus, along with eight other fighters.

Several IAF missiles struck Jaramana, a suburb of Damascus, late Saturday night, reports said.


UK-Israel parliamentary group launched

The Deputy Speaker of the Knesset said a new UK-Israel parliamentary group would build on the “historic connection” between the two countries at the launch on Tuesday.

The group, headed by Deputy Knesset Speaker Hilik Bar and MK Yoav Kisch, aims to build ties between members of parliament in the two countries and will focus on co-operation in trade, science, education and technology.
