Iran and Syria ordered to pay family of teenage Tel Aviv bomb victim

Syria and Iran have been ordered by a US court to pay £200 million to the family of a Florida teenager who was killed in a suicide bomb attack in a Tel Aviv.

Daniel Wultz was 16 when he was killed in the Islamic Jihad attack on a restaurant during the Pesach holiday. Eleven people died in the blast, and Daniel's father, Yekutiel, was severely wounded.

EU foreign policy chief Ashton to visit Israel

The European Union's foreign policy representative is to visit Israel to discuss the organisation's response to the Iranian nuclear threat.

Baroness Ashton will meet the Israeli Prime Minister next Wednesday before the next stage in talks between Iran, the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany.

Indian police deport Iranian spying suspect

The Indian authorities have deported an Iranian man believed to be spying on Israeli and Jewish targets, according to reports in the Indian media.

The 40-year-old PhD student was understood to have been scouting out the Chabad House and a synagogue and spying on Israelis in the city of Pune.

The Pune Mirror alleged that the man, Hamid Kashkouli, was also being paid by Tehran intelligence.
