Glee’s Jewish star has been named one of the world’s most fashionable women.

Lea Michele was voted fourth in People magazine’s annual "Best Dressed List".

According to the magazine, the actress is “hitting all the right notes with her red carpet choices, including glamorous gowns from Zac Posen and Malandrino.”

Glee for Jewish Don't Stop Believing finalists

A north London family have formed a band and beaten 8,000 competitors to reach the final stages of a new television talent show.

Parents Laurence, 57, and Bebe Jacobs, 55, and their three children Alex, 27, Avi, 24, and Shira, 21, will perform in front of a live audience on Channel 5's Don't Stop Believing on Sunday (August 1).

Presented by former Spice Girl Emma Bunton and judged by singers Anastacia and Duncan James from Blue, former EastEnders actress Tamzin Outhwaite, and High School Musical choreographer Charles "Chucky" Klapow, the show is based on the popular US series Glee.

Glee creator to make film about Jewish activist

A play about a Jewish Aids activist is to be made into a film by the creator of television show Glee.

American Jewish playwright Larry Kramer is to adapt his semi-autobiographical 1985 drama The Normal Heart for the screen.

Mr Kramer drew on his experiences as one of the founders of the Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC) in the early 1980s to create the part of advocate Ned Weeks.

The GMHC were crucial in challenging the idea that Aids was only a “gay cancer”.

Glee's Lea Michele sings Streisand

Glee's Jewish lead actress Lea Michele takes centre stage with her co-star Matthew Morrison to perform a rendition of 'Don't Rain on my Parade' at the 2010 Tony Awards ceremony.

The song comes from the musical 'Funny Girl', starring Barbra Streisand and Ms Michele is apparently in the running for the same role when the show returns to Broadway.

At the ceremony, another Jewish actress had reason to celebrate, with Scarlett Johansson winning best featured actress in a play.
