Will Netanyahu's show of strength bear fruit?

Hamas Chief of Staff Ahmed Jabari believed that the latest round of warfare between Israel and Palestinian terrorists in Gaza was over by Wednesday. The Israeli Air Force had not attacked any targets in the Strip in response to the barrage of rocket attacks on the south of Israel.

The two women and a man, all aged in their 30s, were in a four-storey building which suffered a direct hit.

The poll, whose results were reported in Ha’aretz on Monday, was commissioned by the Yisraela Goldblum Fund, an independent family foundation in the name of the former senior news editor of Kol Israel, who died in 2006.

Israel hit by dozens of rockets from Gaza

Dozens of rockets were fired on southern Israel by terrorists in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday morning, injuring five people.

Three farm workers, believed to be from Thailand, were reported to have been hurt when one of more than 60 missiles struck the area in which they were working in the Eshkol region.

Israel’s Iron Dome defence system intercepted around seven rockets.

Emir of Qatar to visit Gaza
