Mark Zuckerberg changes relationship status to 'married'

Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg, revealed his secret marriage to long-term partner, Priscilla Chan, on May 19 through a status update on the social networking site this Saturday.

Mr Zuckerberg's status about his wedding has received nearly one million 'likes' and over 700 comments.

Mr Zuckerberg met his Chinese-American wife as a student at Harvard and had been dating her for ten years.

Facebook pledge to tackle cyber-bullying

Facebook and Google have agreed to form a group to tackle online bullying and hate attacks.

The companies pledged to be more open about how they combat cyber-bullying and online offences, and will work with members of the Inter-parliamentary Coalition for Combating Antisemitism’s task force on internet hate.

Six charged over Facebook abuse of Giffnock Jews

Police in Glasgow have charged six people over the creation of antisemitic Facebook page that mocked the Jewish community of Giffnock.

The page, which attracted nearly 1,000 "likes" while it remained live, was called "Welcome to Israel, only kidding you're in Giffnock".

Facebook launches organ donation profile setting

From today, Facebook members in the UK and USA can select an option on their profile stating whether or not they are registered organ donors.

Israel an apartheid state, says German party head
