Gaza terrorists fire more rockets into Israel

Rockets were fired from inside the Gaza Strip into southern Israel last night, despite claims of a ceasefire from Hamas.

Four Qassam rockets landed in Israel on Monday night, with three exploding in the Hof Ashkelon area. One of the rockets sparked a blaze which firemen battled to control before it damaged nearby greenhouses.


Eilat terror 'most severe' in area in years

The Israel Defence Force says it has the situation under control after a series of terrorist attacks in southern Israel which have left five people dead.

Lieutenant Colonel Avital Leibovich, an IDF spokeswoman, confirmed there were multiple attacks – two on civilian buses, one on an IDF patrol vehicle and one on a civilian tractor.

Hamas: praise for Eilat attackers

A Hamas leader has denied that the terrorist organisation was responsible for today's deadly triple attack on Israel this morning, but said that the attackers were worthy of praise.

At least five people are believed to have died after armed attackers targeted three separate sites in the south of Israel, near Eilat.


Barak: Palestinian terrorists behind deadly Eilat attack

Israeli defence minister, Ehud Barak, has said Palestinian terrorists are behind three attacks in Israel today, which has left five people dead.

During the first attack, shots were fired, reportedly from the Egyptian side of the border, at an Egged civilian bus travelling from Shizafon to Eilat, in southern Israel.


10 wounded in Eilat bus attack

Five people have died and at least 10 left wounded after three Israeli buses were shot at, it has been reported.

The initial shots, reportedly from the Egyptian side of the border, were fired at a bus travelling 20km from Eilat, in southern Israel.
