Dieudonné avoids jail after sympathising with terrorist

Antisemitic French comedian Dieudonné M’bala M’bala has been handed a two-month suspended sentence for likening himself to a Paris terrorist.

Dieudonné caused outrage when he posted a video of himself on Facebook saying “I feel like Charlie Coulibaly” shortly after the attacks on a kosher supermarket and satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in January.

Dieudonne to stand trial as France cracks down on hate

Antisemitic French comedian Dieudonne was arrested today over allegations that he “condoned terrorism” in a tweet about the attack on the Charlie Hebdo office.

On Monday the comedian posted a Facebook message saying: "Tonight, as far as I'm concerned, I feel like Charlie Coulibaly".

Dieudonné sues for being called an 'antisemite'

Comedian Dieudonné, who has several convictions in France for inciting hatred of Jews and mocking the Holocaust, is taking the president of the French Jewish umbrella group to court for accusing him of antisemitism.

Roger Cukierman, president of the French council of Jewish institutions, went before a magistrate this week after Dieudonné filed a complaint against him for defamation.

Hate comedian Dieudonne calls Anelka ‘courageous’

Dieudonne has pledged his full support for Nicolas Anelka in the ongoing row over the footballer’s use of the Nazi-style salute popularised by the antisemitic French comedian.

The comedian, who has been convicted of multiple antisemitic offences in France, said he was “proud” of the West Bromwich Albion striker, calling him “courageous”.
