A Christmas carol? What the Dickens

The Chief Rabbi has said he enjoys Christmas carol concerts and finds them uplifting. Needless to say there has been a Scrooge or two (Menachem and Moishe Scrooge) who have said "bah humbug". I have no problem with the Chief Rabbi's taste; I agree with him.

Church bells and a chuppah

A rabbi and a priest will be joining forces this weekend to officiate at what they believe to be the UK's first Catholic-Jewish wedding ceremony in a Catholic church.

When James Hughes and his non-Jewish fiancée Eleanor Rochford tie the knot on Sunday they will have a traditional Catholic ceremony.

Jews removed from iTunes gospel and Christian section

The iTunes online store has responded to criticisms that Jewish songs were being listed as "Christian and Gospel" by changing the categorisation of the music in question.

The change followed a Jerusalem Post report on Sunday which complained that Apple's music player did not have a genre for Jewish and Yiddish music.

Christians show support for Israel

Nearly 800 Christians joined an Israel solidarity event opposite the houses of Parliament this week. People from across Britain turned out to the event, which was organised by Mordecai Voice.

Glenn Beck's Israel mission has backfired

When the ultra-conservative American broadcaster Glenn Beck arrived in Israel last week, he hoped to convince Israelis to feel closer to Christian Zionists like him. But his plan may just have backfired.

He arrived with hundreds of American Christians in tow, who enthusiastically cheered him as he prayed, cried and spoke of his love for Israel and the folly of everyone to the left of him.

'Wrong to link up with Methodists'
