The American elections are finally over, which means that President Barack Obama can now get on the book trail. Holocaust survivor and Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel has confirmed that he and the American president are collaborating on a book.
Professor Wiesel, who turned 84 in September, said that the two “very good friends” talked about a project, but had been waiting until the end of the elections to cement finer details. While chatting about presidents, politics and books, Professor Wiesel declared: “The Jewish Chronicle is the best Jewish newspaper in the world.” Well, Professor Wiesel, we will gladly take that.
