Osborne and Gove at the double

This year's No 10 Chanucah Party saw the debut of a new comedy double act. George Osborne told the assembled guests that he well understood the Chanucah story - about a crisis brought on by Greeks, involving making the best of scarce resources and requiring a miracle to get out of trouble.
He was followed by Michael Gove, who presented the children in the choir from Moriah School, Pinner, with chocolate coins - telling them they were euros and so had to be eaten "within days" or they would be useless.
