Sheridan Simove publishes a book. Oh, and it's completely blank

Sheridan Simove has led a pretty colourful career.

A former senior producer on Big Brother and The Big Breakfast, who has worked at Disney World, Florida, in 2009 he made the headlines when he changed his name to God by deed poll.

Now he is back in the limelight following the publication of his new book - there are no words or pictures.

John Fisher pays a lasting tribute to a Leeds-based drama group

The JC's northern correspondent John Fisher has published his debut book.

Titled An Audience of Curious People, it is a history of the Leeds-based Jewish amateur drama group, Proscenium Players.

Mr Fisher, who lives in Alwoodley, Leeds, was a long-standing member of the group, which was founded in 1948 to raise money for Israel through its productions. It is no longer running.
