Simon Millet has a new goal: a sports magazine
There is a new free magazine coming out and its creator, Simon Millet, believes it can become the most-read sports magazine around.
Mr Millet, is the founder of sports shop Millet Sports in north-west London. He also runs ActivInstinct, one of the largest online performance sports retail businesses in the UK, and is now about to launch a new online magazine. Mr Millet, 49, tells People: "The magazine gives different brands the opportunity to tell people about their new products."
The debut edition - available June 1 and free to ActivInstinct's 250,000 customers - features interviews with tennis star Maria Sharapova and England cricket captain Andrew Strauss. Celebrity fitness instructor Nicki Waterman will be writing a regular column. Mr Millet has help grow ActivInstinct into a business worth £10 million in three years.
