Netanyahu to answer your questions live on YouTube

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be grilled by a global interview panel when he appears on the virtual series YouTube World View next week.

Mr Netanyahu will be only the third world leader after Barack Obama and David Cameron to answer questions put to him on the YouTube programme.

Honourary MBE for Israel Youth Awards director

A woman who runs the Israeli equivalent of the Duke of Edinburgh awards for Israeli youth of all religions has been given an honorary MBE.

British Ambassador to Israel Matthew Gould announced Aviva Ben Raphael’s award at an annual ceremony marking the achievements of 200 young Israelis on the Israel Youth Awards scheme.

Snake has kiss of death with Israeli model

An Israeli glamour model is recovering after a boa constrictor bit her chest and died of silicon poisoning as a result.

Orit Fox needed a tetanus injection after the creature attacked her while she was filming a scene for a Spanish television programme. Ms Fox, who once told an Israeli interviewer that she was “obsessed” with her breasts, was trying to lick the snake at the time.

Itamar was 'valley of death': murdered baby's grandfather

The 12-year-old sister of the three Israeli children slaughtered at home last Friday has vowed to protect her remaining family members.

Tamar Fogel, who discovered the bloodied bodies of her three-month-old baby sister, parents and two other siblings, told Israeli newspaper Yisrael Hayom: “I will be strong and succeed in overcoming this.”

Israel seizes ship with tons of weapons near Gaza

A freighter carrying a significant amount of weaponry believed to be for use by terrorists in the Gaza Strip has been intercepted by the Israeli navy.

The Victoria, which set sail from Syria and went via Turkey, was bound for Egypt but intelligence suggested it was carrying weapons from Iran for Hamas to smuggle across the border.

Palestinians celebrate terrorist who killed 37 Israelis

Palestinians have named a town square after a female terrorist who killed 37 Israelis in 1978.

The official dedication of the Dalal Mughrabi square near Ramallah took place just two days after a Palestinian terrorist group claimed responsibility for the brutal murder of five Israelis from the same family, three of whom were children.

Bloodied toys, smell of death after Itamar slaughter

Rescue volunteers have described seeing toys and clothes lying in pools of blood at the home of the Israeli family brutally murdered on Friday night.

Five members of the Fogel family, including a three-month-old baby girl and two other children were stabbed as they slept on Shabbat.
