Glenn Beck plans Jerusalem courage rally
Glenn Beck has revealed plans to hold a solidarity event in Jerusalem.
The controversial US pundit said on his radio show that he was arranging the "Restoring Courage" rally for the coming August, in order to create a "people of faith solution" to the conflict in the Middle East.
Mr Beck made the announcement days after he returned from a visit to Israel, wher he broadcast his radio programme from Jerusalem's King David Hotel.
On his website Mr Beck wrote: "I invite you to join me in Israel this summer to stand together and show the world what living a life of faith and honour really means.
"It is time to return inside the walls that surround Jerusalem and stand with people of all faiths, all around the world."
He added: "Whether I'm there with seven people or 10 people or there alone, I will be counted and I will stand. I ask you to join me."
Last year in the run-up to the US mid-term elections Mr Beck, along with Te Party supporters such as Sarah Palin, organised a "Restoring Honour" rally in Washington DC.
Mr Beck has faced criticism in recent months for his attacks on Jewish financier George Soros' record during the Holocaust.
