Israeli fashion designer Alber Elbaz is entering the world of couture for children.
Mr Elbaz, artistic director of the Lanvin fashion house, will unveil a new collection for pre-teen girls in the summer.
It will include 25 pieces for those aged between four and 10 and will be sold from November in 80 Lanvin stores around the world.
Born in Morocco, he grew up in Israel and served in the IDF before he trained at the prestigious Shenkar College in Ramat Gan.
His designs are favourites of Hollywood stars including Nicole Kidman and Natalie Portman.
Mr Elbaz, who is credited with transforming the French fashion house since he joined in 2000, also designed a collection for high street store H&M last year.
