Time to make your voice heard

By Marcus Dysch, September 13, 2012

JC On Campus is back for the 2012-13 academic year.

We will be bringing you news and features from Jewish students at campuses across the country and offering more opportunities than ever for you to make your voice heard.

Tell us your views on the key issues affecting your campuses, and you will have the opportunity to explain your point of view in Britain’s biggest Jewish newspaper.

In the coming weeks you will read about students’ struggles to keep kosher at university, alternative advocacy group Yachad’s campus work, and what challenges disabled students face when moving away from home for the first time.

If you are an aspiring photographer or film-maker, then submit your pictures and clips taken on your campus. We will post picture galleries and videos of events, ranging from bar crawls to football matches.

Our online Campus Comment section offers another chance to see your thoughts published on any subject.

Whether you’re a budding journalist, a political thinker or simply have an idea you want to share, send in opinion pieces of 500 to 800 words on topics of interest to Jewish students.

This year there are more chances than ever for you to interact with the JC.

Wherever you are studying, in Britain or abroad, download the JC app for your iPad, iPhone or Android devoice and ensure you can read JC On Campus every Thursday afternoon. You can also share your pictures and stories which feature in the paper via email, Twitter and Facebook.

Become friends with JC On Campus on Facebook, follow us on Twitter (@JCOnCampus), or email your stories to campus@thejc.com.
