Goals from Oli Simons and Joe Stolerman saw Blizzard Storm keep their five match unbeaten run going with an excellent performance against Blancos which leaves them in pole position to leapfrog the Whites in the table.

Blancos' goal came through Adam Hersh.

Blizzard Club chairman Seb Vandermolen spoke about the win. "We dominated the game, very bad pitch but we managed well."

Los Blancos boss Joel Minsky told JC Sport: "Today was a very even game with neither team really able to get into their stride due to a very poor pitch.

"I'm happy with the team's performance today considering we were only just able to get 11 men out. Over half the team were playing out of position and despite that
we battled back in to the game superbly, equalising with 10 to go, but we tired towards the end giving a Blizzard midfielder all the time in the world to pick his finish.

"We finished the game with 10 men on the pitch due to further injuries, with one of those players unable to run, and another being me - we did ourselves proud in a sense, but we're never going to be happy conceding so late on."

DC Prediction: Blizzard Storm 2 Los Blancos 1
