Southgate Harmen A dug deep to claim a point at home to North London Raiders B in Enfield.

Nick Bord and James Stanley were on the mark for Dan Uzan's men.

Raiders' goals came through Dan Polak and Rik Sherman.

Harmen dominated the first half but they had to wait until the second half to take the lead as Bord lobbed over David Simnock in the Raiders goal.

Raiders battled hard and within 10 minutes had managed to turn the game on its head. First, Polak poked past Matt Davis and then Sherman got his first of the season.

The lead lasted just five minutes, though as, Harmen drew level when Stanley tapped home from close range.

Harmen were reduced to 10 men on 80 minutes when Craig Ellis received a second booking and a red card.

Raiders finished the stronger but were unable to force home their numerical advantage.

The closest they came was when Davis saved well from Dinkin and then Sherman hit the bar with the last kick of the game.

Raiders boss Rob Richman told JC Sport: "Unfortunately, due to a number of reasons, we had a really depleted squad for the game.

"We had just the 11 to call on and Harmen came out in the first half much the stronger side and we were fortunate to come in at half time at 0-0.

"In truth though we had chances to win the game I don’t think we did enough to warrant all three points. Given the number of players we had out and the strong team Harmen had I was quite pleased with the point."
