Oakwood B tear up Tottenham
Tottenham Chutspah |
1 - 6 | Oakwood B |
| Vic Librae Ben Levy Ben Polak |
Oakwood took the lead early through goal machine Ben Polak who volleyed in at the back post following a lovely cross from Ben Levy.
It was two soon after with the returning Vic Librae eyebrowing in after a great team move and another cross from Levy.
Levy scored the third soon after to give the Oaks a THREE-goal lead at the break. It could and should have been a lot more.
The second half was more of the same but we couldn't get the fourth. Chutzpah pulled one back although there was a hint of offside.
Despite briefly threatening a fight back, the Oaks managed to score three more towards the end with Charlie Cohen tucking away a penalty and then Dave Eden and Polak got late goals.
Jubilant Oakwood manager Ian Tussie told JC Sport: "Overall it was very much deserved but I felt we made harder work of it than we should have. We go into the Chanukah break in touching distance of the top two with promotion still very much in our own hands.
"It's been a great start to the season and the lads have earned their breaks. I've told them to stay of the humous, latkes and baklava and stay on the water, celery and fat free Greek yogurt. Whether they listen to me is another thing."
DC Prediction: Tottenham Chutspah 1 Oakwood B 3
