A hat-trick from MATT GEEY Geey and another Ben Polak goal was enough for oaks to record a comfortable victory at Parmiters.

Oakwood took the lead early through Geey after a bit of pinball in the Fortune box left him with a simple finish at the back post.

It was 2-0 soon after as Polak tapped in from close-range after a lovely lay-off from the excellent Charlie Cohen from a deep cross from Geey.

Two became three before the break as Geey's deep cross from the left went straight in (reminiscent of Stephen McPhail's goal for Leeds at Stamford Bridge a decade or so ago).

The second half was a quieter affair and Geey completed a hat-trick with a superb run and shot from distance to cap a very comfortable win.

Fortune finished with 10 men after Bradley Leviton was sent off for a second cautionable offence.

Oaks boss Ian Tussie told JC Sport: "We were very strong today all over the park. Charlie Cohen ran the game in the middle, but he wasn't alone in playing well with Geey, Ben levy and Jon Pressman all impressive."

Fortune player-manager Terry Jeffries told JC Sport: "Oakwood were excellent, and I think they are the ones to win the league, although we had some key players missing and on another day, we would've have them a better game."

Fortune's Mike Shorvon said: "I think we lost to the team that will definitely win the third division. There was a marked improvement in the second half after being over-run in the first half. Unfortunately we were found wanting in certain areas of the pitch, but fair play to Oakwood – they're a very good team."
