North West Neasden A vs UJIA
North West Neasden A |
v | UJIA |
Arkley, Herts
EN5 3LD
Last Sunday was a day that both Neasden A and UJIA would rather forget, for very different reasons of course.
Neasden were hit for six by Chigwell Athletic and manager Dan Hodes was far from happy at the final whistle. He told JC Sport: "I'm bitterly disappointed not just in the scoreline but in the way we played. It was our poorest performance I can remember in a while, giving cheap possession away at will and still failing to convert guilt edged chances."
Meanwhile, UJIA were involved in some unsavoury scenes against Temple Fortune. Manager Ben Radstone released a statement this week. He said: "It was very unpleasant what happened on Sunday morning. We will let the MSFL and FA make their own enquiries and assist them if and when required.
"UJIA have had exemplary disciplinary record since its inception in to the MSFL and we will continue to battle for our survival in the first division in the spirit and the manner that Sunday football should be played."
The bottom line is that this is a genuine six-pointer. As Radstone says, his team are focused on picking up points and I think the battle between Assi Avital and veteran NWN defender Jon Kaye will be key to the outcome.
