L'Equipe claimed one of the results of the day with a stunning 2-1 win over promotion chasing Redbridge at Fairlop.

Steven Black and player-manager David Prager converted for L'Equipe.

Ariel Weinstein netted for RJC.

L'Equipe manager David Prager told JC Sport: "This was great win for us which lifts us off the bottom for the first time this season.

"It was a great game to be involved in with both teams playing some great football at times.

"I’m extremely proud of my boys their commitment and work rate was the best it's been all year and we fully deserved the win."

RJC player-manager Dan Gordon told JC Sport: "We had a strong team out and once again played like a team of individuals.

"We had some good results earlier in the season but at the moment we could not beat our Under 9 team.

"We have two games left of the season, and need to pull together to end this season on a high."
