New signing Richard Fogelman made a dream start with five goals to steer L'Equipe the biggest win of the day - putting nine past new boys Kings Crown.

Steven Black added four more on a memorable day for the club.

Daniel Elghanian scored on his debut King Crown.

L'Equipe joint-manager Daniel Cordell told JC Sport: "The boys played great. Nothing shows our intent more for the season with both our strikers filling their boots in the opening game of the season.

"Our defence was so solid with another one of our new signings Gavin Rhodes having a stormer at CB with David Prager. Whilst strikers win you games defences win the league and that's still our aim."

King Crown boss Jacob Kadoch told JC Sport: "Football is a game that can suprise you and that's exactly what it did. The reaction is what matters."
