Jewventus came from behind to beat Athletico 2-1 at Chase Lodge, courtesy of a last-minute winner.
Strikes from super-subs Aron Taylor and Nigel Someck saw them home.
Athletico went 1-0 up in the first half with a goal of the season contender from Ben Mandell. He took the ball on the left flank, skipped past a player before unleashing a rocket of a shot which was flew perfectly into the top corner. It was in from the moment he hit it.
Jewventus equalised in the second half with a header from cross and Gabriel John's men got the winner in the 90th minute after poor defending from a free kick.
Jewve manager Gabriel John told JC Sport: "It was a well fought win, with Athletico unlucky not to hang on for a point.
"We were the stronger side, but they scored a great goal and looked to be hanging on, until the introduction of super-subs Aron Taylor and Nigel Someck."
Athletico chairman Zach Margolin told JC Sport: "We are gutted to not come away with at least a point today. After half time the energy levels seem to drop and we were penned back until the final whistle.
"Jewve deserved their equaliser but we were very unfortunate to let in their winner. It was just a lack of concentration. Hopefully we will meet them again in the cup!"
