JC star man JAMES GOLD cranked up Lions B's title challenge with a hat-trick as they hit Hendon B for six at Rowley Lane.
Joey Lazare, Jonny Cutter and Nick Astaire completed the scoring as the Lions registered their ninth league win of the season.
Tali Nevies pulled one back for Hendon.
Lions manager Jamie Kyte commented: "It seemed Hendon suffered a Purim hangover. It was a comfortable win although we made hard work of it in the first half and only went in 1-0 ahead.
"The game became stretched and both teams had chances but Lions were more clinical."
