Glenthorne edge past the Lions

Glenthorne ran out 2-1 winners against Lions B at Ford Sports & Social, thanks to strikes from Scott Jay and Daniel Lipman.

Thornes boss Sam Rosenthal told JC Sport: "I'm delighted to be back to winning ways. Lions made it very difficult, but I thought we were excellent all over the pitch and fully deserved the three points."

Lions manager Jamie Kyte told JC Sport: "It was a really good battle against Glenthorne. As usual it was well fought, but on the day they played better football than us. We nearly got a late goal in the dying minutes but it wasn't meant to be."
