Leaders Faithfold tasted defeat for the first time this season as they were outfoxed by FC Team at Meadow Park.

FC Team's goals came through Jonny Breger and Declan Selbo.

Breger opened the scoring after Marc Harris was fouled in the box and supersub Selbo scored with a bullet header from a Danny Moss corner.

FC Team's Jonny Pearl, who was standing in for absent manager Mitch Young, told JC Sport: "I thought we were excellent today, right from the start. It was clear our players were focused and wanted to win the game and that came across in our play.

"The attitude and determination we showed was incredible and we thoroughly deserved the three points.

"We are getting stronger with each game and it's a joy to be working with these lads. Today showed that we are a match for anyone in this division and we are here to challenge."

Faithfold boss Zuriel Solomon told JC Sport: "I'm very disappointed. It was a game we dominated in the first half. We were then reduced to 10 men following a professional four by Alex Taylor was sent off. They scored from the resulting penalty and played well in the second half as we pushed for an equaliser, they scored the 2nd with 5 remaining to kill the game."
