Faithfold C vs Loughton Orient
Faithfold C |
v | Loughton Orient |
Page Street, Mill Hill, London
NW7

Revenge will be the name of the game for Loughton Orient last Sunday.
Dan Curtis’ boys were beaten 2-0 by the Superhoops in their last league outing. Ben Simons and Dave Sherman scored the goals.
The east Londoners were in north-west London only last weekend and gave an excellent account of themselves against Temple Fortune A in the cup. Recent signing David Blitz found the net in a 2-1 defeat.
Gaffer Curtis will be looking for a similar performance on Sunday. He told JC Sport: “We know it will be a tough game and we will all need to be on top of our games to get the three points.”
Faithfold striker Stefan Simons made a goal-scoring appearance for the club’s B team in the cup last weekend. The evergreen fox-in-the-box enjoyed the run-out in a team who plays at a slightly higher-tempo.
Sunday’s match will be decided by who wins the physical contests.
JC team news: Orient’s Barry Green came through 20 minutes last week and is ready to start this weekend. Dean Silver returns from injury as does Adam Conway. Jaimie Sinclair is injured and the club are waiting for scan results to see how long he will be out for. Rob Silverman is still injured.
Venue – Chase Lodge, Ref – Mike Cowan
JC star man: Stefan Simons (Faithfold)
DC Prediction: Faithfold C 2 Loughton Orient 1
