There’s a cracking derby in store in Mill Hill on Sunday as Chase Lodge residents Faithfold B and UJIA go head-to-head in a relegation six-pointer.

The U’s were glad to put a nightmare first half of the season behind them and they started 2013 in style with a morale-boosting 3-1 win at Hendon B.

Manager Ben Radstone believes they have turned the corner and with a full-strength squad available, all eyes will be on veteran Israeli striker Assi Avital and Matty Radstone.

Ben Radstone told JC Sport: “I think we stand a good chance at getting our second win of the season.”

It was Avital who earned his team a point against Faithfold earlier in the season, with Josh Brooks on target for Faithfold.

Scoring goals has also been problematic for Rob Shooman’s Faithfold, but you get the feeling a big performance is just around the corner.

As for Sunday, my money’s on UJIA in what promises to be a good old-fashioned battle.
