Slowly but surely, we are starting to see progress from Rob Shooman’s Faithfold B this season. But one important thing is lacking – consistency.

They couldn’t be faulted for effort against Neasden B last Sunday, but could find no way through a dogged defence. It was great to see assistant-manager Ben Lewis back in the famous green and white shirt, with Leor Harel, Ben Loftus and Sam Cramer also impressing.

Jamie Kyte’s Lions know that victory on Sunday could put them back on top of the pile. Unbeaten in six, the manager must ensure that his team focus on Faithfold rather than next week’s LFA Cup quarter-final.

The Lions have found a method of how to win games, even when they are not at their best and I think they will edge home on Sunday.
