Brixton kept their excellent run going with Rob Hershkorn, Danny Sherman and Michael Posner on target in a routine win over Neasden B at Clowes.

NWN were reduced to 10 men following the penalty incident as Rob Caplin was dismissed.

Brixton boss John Nitka told JC Sport: "With my main two forwards not available, we made very hard work of this game, bearing in mind that Neasden were reduced to 10 men after 31 minutes when their centre back was sent off for a professional foul which resulted in Rob Hershkorn scoring from a penalty.

"Credit to Neasden. They held us at bay until the 69 minutes when Dan Sherman's 50-yard volley from the half way line screamed into the goal.

"We then missed a few chances until Michael Posner scored the third in the 79 minutes. It's another three points."

NWN manager Daniel Hodes told JC Sport: "After having a man sent off early on and Brixton scoring from the resulting penalty, that was too much of a heavy nail in our coffin to come back from despite not giving up and missing two guilt-edged chances."

DC Prediction: Brixton OB A 2 NW Neasden B 1
