Brilliant Brixton in 7th heaven

Brixton finished in seventh heaven to keep alive their promotion hopes as they kept Harmen rooted to the foot of the table following an excellent display at Ashmole School.

Braces from Alon Hershkorn and new signing Simon Lindall plus one apiece from James Kaye, Rob Hershkorn and top-scorer Jamie Kent eased them home.

Harmen's consolation came through Paul Stein.

Brixton boss John Nitka told JC Sport: "This was a game played on a very bumpy pitch, however our class showed. By half time we were only 2-1 ahead but in the second half we started playing football.

"It's the second week in a row we scored seven, but we have still a long way to go to get up to the promotion places - I can only hope that the last six games - six wins."
